Question: The TRUTH about crunches/ situps and losing stomach fat!?
I hear that it helps lose your stomach!.

then I hear that it doesnt help you lose your stomach it just makes your ab muscles tighter, which makes it poke out more!.

The truth is actually that spot reducing is a myth!. Body fat piles on all over!. When you lose it, no matter what exercise you do, it also comes off all over!. For women, that gain usually begins in the thighs, hips and stomach, so those areas usually come off last!.

If you want to lose your stomach fat, do high intensity cardio such as aerobics, stationary bike or running!.

Make sure you are on a healthy diet and don't do something bad like dropping your food intake next to nothing!. Doing that will drop your metabolism too low and you could potentially gain weight above and beyond what you started at when you return to normal lifestyle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
