Question on reps?!


Question: Question on reps!?
I want to tone and lose weight I am 49 and turn 50 next month and weigh 160 lb I joined the YMCA 2 weeks ago and walked 2 miles a day 3 times last week and now my so far this week I have walk 2 miles every day Sat Sun Mon in 30 min!. I started doing the weight machines but don't know how much weight and how many reps I know I can do more with my legs than I can with my arms I hope you can helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

you should do each exercise for 12-15 repetitions!. rest about a minute and do it again!. then move on to a new body part!. the weight should be heavy enough that by the last 3 or 4 reps, it is very difficult to complete!. you should be huffing and puffing! keep really good form, do the exercises slowly!. you WILL be sore the next day!. Just think of that soreness as BUILDING TONE & MUSCLE!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
