have you been looking at pics of me only joking same stats exactly scary!.
The norm way is higher reps is used to lesson weight and cause a cut up look!.This doesn't have to be baby weights but lighter weights then usually but you don't want to be reaching silly reps as you do still want to feel the work you are doing else you may as well lift nothing!.
Heavier weight will give you a bulk look aiming at around 6 to 12 reps max up usually with the weight the later sets will be the 6 range!.I good aim is what a good few old school bodybuilders do is the 8 game where every set you do in the gym must reach 8 once you can do this with with heavy weight then you increase the number ,once you get to around 10 you increase all the weights on every exercise!.it sounds easy and may seem to but towards the end of a full work out eight sometimes seems miles away!.
But all this differs to what programme your on either a split routine or a full body workout!.
Remember that we each are different shapes and sizes look at your family thats you in a fashion!.If all your family are well build and you have a big frame also you are never going to be 6 stone skinny your body shape wont go that way ever!.
so what look do you want a bulky look or a trimmed look but again alot will depend on your own body!.
For bigger arms remember don't get stuck in the idea that a bicep makes a big arm look at any famous bodybuilder his tricep is a big muscle and will give the whole look to the arm and makes the arm look big whilst a bicep makes the peak look big but without a large tricep the arm is bicep is nothing!.

cut the tricep of the arm and look at the pic again with just the bicep!.
If its bicep size then hammer them get some bulk on them then once you have the bulk add some cutting exercises in your bicep rountine!.There is no point cutting the arm up if it has no real size yet!.
A fw good exercise are a seated dumbell raise with the seat upright then another time with it back slightly so your at an angle!.barbell curls with a bar and somedays use a EZ bar, sometime knell on the floor and do a dumbell exercise and bar curl it allows no real movement in your back and puts the punishment to your arms alone!. Drop sets with a row of bars and or a row of dumbells is a good rountine!.
Always squeeze at the top dont lift weight which you need to bend your back and makes reps slow as possible!.
Dont forget that tricep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

alternate so ur muscles dont feel like the workout is routineWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think it's better to do reps!. You don't want to strain the muscle!. I myself do everything in 20's!. I do 20 on each side then after I do the 20 I switch to the next and make sure to stretch out before I do it again!. My fiance has huge arms and taught me this!.!. I of course use little weights but he does over 75 on each arm!. But he's worked up to that!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're going for signifigant size, heavy weights and fewer reps & sets!.
If you want to tone, medium weights and more reps & sets!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
