Sloooooooooooow Metabolism?!


Question: Sloooooooooooow Metabolism!?
I have another problem!.!.!. I have always been battling with my weight!. It has been a lifelong battle!. I'm fifteen--in grade nine, and I just cannot lose any weight!. I have been active after school every day, usually riding bike and I have been trying to eat decent!.

The thing that bothers me is that all the other teens in my grade level are thin--well, most of them!. I hear stories of some of them who sit on the couch all weekend, eating, eating, eating and EATING!. I had a friend at one point who could eat two bags of chips in a day, and not pack a single pound!. !.!.

I find that I have a single "bad" day of eating (not terrible, mind you, just not 'great'), and I will pack on several pounds!. I am trying to lose weight, but I just find it so damn hard!.

By the way: I'm 5'7'' with a weight hovering around 200lbs!.

Well, sounds like you have the exercise part down, which is good!. Next, look at your calorie intake!. Is it reasonable!? There are a lot of websites that will allow you to enter you age, height, and activity level, and will then tell you about how many calories a day you should be eating!. That is step one!. Step 2 is knowing WHEN and HOW to eat said calories!. The going theory is that 5 small meals a day is healthier 3 large meals a day--if you can do this, try it!. Next, eat early!. Always have breakfast (eating will kick start your metabolism in the morning), and try not to eat within 2-3 hours of going to sleep!.

Lastly, when you have the munchies (because snacking is good), try to choose low and negative calorie foods: asparagus, beets, broccoli, green cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery root, celery chicory, hot chili peppers, cucumber, dandelion, endive, garden cress, garlic, green beans, zucchini, apples, cranberries, grapefruit, lemon, mango, oranges, pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, tangerines, lamb's lettuce, lettuce, onion, papaya, radishes, spinach, turnipsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Everybody is different so don't go to buy the next "big diet" that they throw out on the market!. There is a website on the internet where they actually have a weight loss expert record a CD specifically for you! I heard people are getting Great results! They send you a questionaire and ask that you fill it out as honestly as possible, then they get to work! Do you do any sports!? If not, you should join one!. Just riding a bike doesn't always do the trick!. My doctor told me i wasn't over weight, but after playing soccer and football, I was 20 pounds less!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
