Yes, its excellent because its very low in fat and high in protein. Buy tuna that is canned in water (not oil). If you are making a sandwhich use fat-free mayonaise or mustard.
Also, avoid albacore tuna as it has higher mercury levels that the other tuna.
Don't just eat tuna. Have tuna a few times a week for lunch. Have lean turkey sandwhiches other days. Have oatmeal everday for breakfast. Eat a low-fat dinner with lots of fruits and vegetables for energy.
