Question:

I am a 4'10.5'' teenager entering high school...?

I wear a size 14 womans/15 juniors. I walk sometimes, and I try to watch what I eat by eating small breakfasts and lunches. How can I lose weight?

Answers:

Don't bother watching what you eat, unless its just doughnuts and stuff. You just need to exercise a little. Unless you have some sort of thyroid condition theres no reason why someone your age shouldn't be able to keep a good weight.

First off 'eating small breakfasts and lunches' isn't always a good idea. The main thing to remember about weight loss is that you have to burn the calories you take in. If your body is hungry, it will try to conserve calories because it thinks that it is starving. The more you eat, the more calories your body will try to burn. Wiki metabolism for more info, but heres a quick little routine that should help you out:

As soon as you wake up, *jump* out of bed with a healthy and positive attitude (sounds corny, but seriously its the first step to getting your metabolism jump started), grab some food to get your hunger squared away, get dressed and dont forget to take a snack to school. Remember that if you are hungry you are in 'conservation mode'. You should eat every 2 hours at least something like a granola bar, or even a Snickers or something if you have to. Here is the important part... if you feel like you are tired or you are slowing down, eat something. 8 snacks throughout the day is better than 3 full meals. As long as there is something in your stomach you will be burning calories fast. When you get home do your homework (not related to weight loss, but you really should do it :P ) then grab a snack before dinner.

As far as exercise goes, its really easy to so some simple stuff like stretching your legs out and doing a few push-ups every day. At you're age you really shouldn't need more than that, if doing what I suggested for a month doesn't lose you any weight then i would see a doctor.

Summary:
JUMP out of bed ready to take on the day,
Snack throughout the day to keep your metabolism running high
Don't mope around and sit on your butt all day, do at least one active thing a day
Keep a positive attitude, you really do burn more calories if you
