Answers:
well, you really can't quite calculate it that way!. one would think you can theoretically, but in reality there are many unaccounted for factors!. there are 3500 calories in a pound of fat, however, what you don't know is how many calories your normal metabolism burns each day!. you can estimate it if you go into detail about exactly what you do all day!.

first is that if you are exercising daily your eating pattern will change, your overall metabolism will rise which will burn calories beyond just how many calories any particular exercise will burn!. you will actually burn more calories sitting walking standing and sleeping than before!. this can't really be calculated - you will have to limit your calorie intake and start a reasonable exercise regimen and see where you are in one month!. document as much as you can about what you ate and exercised!.

second, your starting point is critical too!. if you are 450 lbs the true amount it will take to lose 1lb is tiny!. if you are 110 it is much harder!.

- start with your current BMI (i know its outdated), see how many calories are recommended for your body size!.
- take that number of calories down by 300 a day and take a published exercise regimen of 300!. so you will be burning a net +600 from where you are now, but you need to do a lot more work to see if that is still over or under what you need to lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if u burn 3500 calries in 1 day without eating 1 calorie which is extremely hard if not impossible that means u lost a pound in that 1 day of not eating!.!. if you eat 100 cals that means you must burn 4500 calories in order to burn 1 entire pound of fat in that entire day which is pretty hard and like i said, if not impossible to do!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends heavily on your activity levels!. For instance, if you use an elliptical trainer for a hour and the machine says you burned 500 calories, it might take a week to loose one pound assuming you ate the same amount as previously ate!. However, this is not very exact like measuring ingredients for a recipe!. It might take longer or shorter depending on what you're eating and your exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
