What things could i snack on during the day?!


Question: What things could i snack on during the day!?
What is a good thing to snack on per day!? Basically i have a bowl of muesli with mixed seeds in the morning with a cup of tea!. i take water to work and drink regularly!. then have lunch which is usually a couple of pieces of toast buttered! then i wait till 5 o clock to have dinner which is at the moment salads! then i snack on fruit in the evening which is usually apple or mixed fruits such as strawberry and grapes! anything i culd snack on to boost my metabolism during the day in the afternoon!? do i eat healthy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you're not eating healthily! A healthy diet should be balanced, ie!., should include food from ALL the food groups: Carbs, Protein, Fat, Vitamins, Mineral Salts, Fibre !. It seems that you're having the same old things every day and where, for instance, is the protein!?! There are lots of sites on the internet that can advise on what amounts of nutrients, etc!., you should be taking in each day, and loads of magazines devoted to the subject; start on the sites below and go from there to formulate your own ideas!. A little and often (every 3 hours) is better for the metabolism than allowing yourself to experience hunger!. (Standard Mullerlite yogurt is good for snacking too!)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't eat a lot- I would probably eat my desk if I ate that little :-)
Good ideas for snacks are cucumber sticks, carrot sticks or celery!. You could also try a little dry fruit (not too much), alternatively some nuts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I found a little treat of chocolate mint pumpkin seeds!. I think my mum bought them in waitrose!. Thery're yummy!. Just right for nibbling on!. Failing that dry crackers, fruit or veggiesticks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think toast for lunch is really enough, eating like that will slow your metabolism right down!. The best thing to do is have a massive breakfast, big lunch and small dinner/tea, if you do that you probably won't need to snack during the dayWww@Answer-Health@Com

one piece of fruit (examples are 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 orange, 2 satsumas, 1 pear, 200 grams of melon, 200 grams of strawberrys, 150 grams of grapes, 200 grams of raspberrys, 200 grams of blueberrys, 100 grams of mango, 100 grams of papya, 100 grams of pineapple, 200 grams of blackberrys or etc)
or
25 grams of soya nuts
or
2 ryevitas (nothing on them though)
or
1 rice cake
or
