i have heard of these all liquid fasts that make you lose weight in a matter of days, im wondering what some of them are, and how safe they are!?!.!. thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ya, they are safe and effective if you dont mind putting the weight back on!. Fasting is about the worst way to loose weight and any one that knows a minimal amount of nutrition would agree!. Why do you think the Atkins diet is the absolute worst fad diet out there!. We as human being are very adaptable!. When you deprive your body of simple fules, like carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, it adapts and slows down your metabolism naturally!. This is bad!. A slow metabolism means less calories are being burned!. Now you can get by on about 1200 calories a day and still loose a significant amount of weight!. You need to eat your meals about 2-3 hours apart and keep them around 200-400 calories!. This way you keep your metabolism running throughout the day without compromising its efficiency and having it shut down!.
When you go on a liquid diet, you are providing no nutrients to your muscles and guess what!.!.!.!.skeletal muscle is more readily converted to energy than fat, so actually you will actually start eating yourself from inside out!. Then when you get off your liquid diet, since you can't physically stay on it forever you will once again reintroduce carbs and fats back into your diet!. Well, since your body is now in starvation mode since it has been deprived of these essential macronutrients, it is going to take everything you put in your body after that and convert it to fat for storage since it will not know when you are going to pull your liquid diet stunt again!.
Plus, you cant loose that much fat in a matter of day, most of the weight you loose is fecal matter excreted out of your system since you are not putting anything in your body to digest!.
