Question: Is this true about workouts!?
If you want to lose weight you shouldn't do push ups or sit ups!. My friend told me that this only builds muscle which is heavier than fat!. He said just run!. I don't know but im pretty sure push ups and sit ups will burn calories!. should i slap him!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Slap him real good! Its a good thing to run but its also a good thing to do your push ups and sit ups to tone the area up once you do lose the weight!. You won't gain heavy muscle like he's trying to tell you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmm push ups and sit ups do burn calories and develops muscle to some extent!. running is better for burning calories during the exercise!. the best exercise to burn fat is HIIT http://www!.hiitsource!.com/
which is interval training!. you were somewhat correct though, strength training when doing low reps high weight will burn more calories than running (because your muscles will still be burning calories 24-36 hours after being worked out!.) running at a sustained rate only burns calories during the exercise and is not that affective at burning fat!. (of course if you just start out doing exercises like running you will notice a difference but you will reach a plateau where you wont burn any more body fat!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
