Gained 15 pounds this summer so far - help?
I'm being quite athletic and eating what I normally eat, but I have put on 15 pounds so far this summer, and I know that not all of it is muscle, maybe 5 of the 15 is muscle. I don't know what I did wrong for this to happen, but I've always been really thin and been able to eat a ton. Can someone help me?
I'm 16, 6'0", and 173 pounds.

Heya, I'm not much of a diet expert but i have been worrying about my own weight recently. Im quite tall too but i still thought i was overweight. I went to see my doctor and they have chart things (you can find them or the web or find a site that you enter your weight and height and it will tell you if your weight is right) that show what the weight should be for a person of a particular height. I am 5'10" and the weight someone of my height should be was approximately 165 pounds. If you are only 8 above that and you are 2 inches taller then i am sure you are fine! Another possibility could be that if you are quite athletic you must be drinking a lot of water at the moment. This could mean that the weight you have gained could be water weight. Anyway i hope this has helped a little and If you are really worried see your doctor.
