Question: Is it ok to!.!.!.!?
is it ok to do ur workout as soon as uve eaten ur food!? if not then how much time should u wait!?

Answers:
Eating right after your workout is good for athletes who are very serious about training and are interested in recovery!. Your body continues to burn energy for a while after your workout so if you're interested in losing weight you wouldn't want to eat right after!.
As to working out right after you've eaten it isn't something I would do!. I feel lethargic and sluggish because the food tends to slow you down!. I would suggest waiting atleast 1/2 hr!.

i would say not

let your food digest a while
it gives you more energy
and lets your body really take in those vitamins, fiber, protein etc

besides, dont' u get stomach aches/ problems that way!?!?


oh and i've heard (and felt!!) that you get even hungrier after exercising
since you've used up a lot of energy


i would say drink water
(and coffee might help--- i've heard it burns more calories after a run)

and eat some healthy snacks

it's better to eat after working out, to replenish what you have lost during workout!. also your body will more easily absorb the nutrients from the foods after the workouts, so be sure you eat fresh foods afterwards! no junk, only fruit, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no you cant eat and work out right away , u would feel full , and the food would slow you performance, i get the best work out when i wake up and go to the gym !.!.!. you can eat a small meal 2 to 3 hours before working out !.!.!.!. i would suggest to take protin and go to gym and after working out take protin again !.!.!. 4 hours later have a meal!.!. but don't eat junk food , eat fish or chickenWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should really workout after an hour of eating your meal in order to avoid cramps and feeling full from your meal!. But if you were to have 1/2 a meal or a semi- light snack prior to working out (as long as it is not an intense workout), then you could workout within 30 mins of eat that meal!.
But when you workout on a full stomach, then your body may feel sluggish and full still because you have not allowed your body time to absorb the food fully and digest it!.
Also after you workout, you should eat within 30 mins!. Your body would absorb the food better during the time because while you were excercising, you burned your fuel (the food you had before the excercise to give you energy) and need to replenish that to aid in a quicker recovery time and help build and repair muscles and other cells!.
The best meal to eat before and or after a workout is a meal that has complex carbohydrates (such as fruits, vegetables, whole grain foods, etc), lean protein, and a limit of fats!. The reason why you should have the complex carbs prior to a workout is your body will take longer to digest the food and will be able to provide you longer lasting energy for your workout (so for example, if you had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast before working out, because of the high fiber content, this will really help you excercise better and longer than if you had a donut for breakfast)!. And in order to prevent your stomach from having cramps and other problems during your workout, you should limit your intake of fats because it will be harder for your system to digest that before a workout!.
For the meal after a workout, as I had explained earlier, the complex carbs help to replenish the energy that you have worked off during your excercise!. And if you do weight train, then by eating lean protein, this will help build new muscles because protein are like building blocks!.
And lastly, please make sure that you are adequately hydrated before, during and after your workout!.

Hey!

I would say it is important that you work out after you have eatten!. Working out takes alot of energy out of your body, and you are able to actually withstand alot more with the more energy you have!. This does not mean have a full turkey dinner and then speed off to the gym, but eat senseably and wait an hour or so and then go off to the gym!.
Eating after will probably happen as well but keep it light, an apple, rice cake, fruits or veggies are a great after workout snack!!

So eatting before and after is acceptable, but I would make sure to eat a meal before then wait a half hour to an hour before working out!.!.!.!.to digest a little bit!.

and eating after the gym is good too, but make it light!.!.!.you do not need to have a full meal if you ate before the gym
