Proper motivation?!

Proper motivation?

I am lifting weights for 3 weeks now and in my point of view nothing is happening but some people says its "developing" now I am confused if they are just being assh0les to me, coz I don't think something is happening yet but now I don't want to do it anymore, am I just losing my motivation could someone please tell me his/her story, I seek motivation

I'll tell you like a teacher told us in health class, he weighs less now than he did when he was in college, but he's fatter now. Can you figure that out? It's easy. Back in college, he played football and had a lot of muscles but weighed more. He weighs less now, but he has less muscle. Muscle is weight. Don't get discouraged, It takes time to build up muscle and then lose the fat but since muscles weigh more than fat, it appears you aren't going anywhere. Do you notice that you have more strength in your arms? Are you sleeves feeling a little tighter? Those are good gages. Just remember, you need to build up slowly over time if you want to keep those muscles. Have fun.
