Finger tips swollen and ankle a little swollen??!

Question:

Finger tips swollen and ankle a little swollen??

I've been on a diet, trying to get to my goal weight of 100lbs at the hight of 5 3''. About a year ago, my fingers swoll-up and I freaked out and went to the doctor with my mother. She said it may be edema and I got, what is it called....I think MRI on my kidneys, where they put the gell on you thats always cold and then use a machine to see whats happening inside and all. Anyway, I dont know what the results were, but I guess since noone called saying I was going to die that everything was ok. Now a days, I get swollen fingers every so often. I dont eat more than 100 cals a day max, and what I do eat is fruits and veggies, not much salt... Recently my kidneys have been hurting, yesterday I guess they were swollen or somthing because pressure in the area was not exactly welcome with open arms. It hurt! today I weigh a pound more than I was yesterday and this tends to happen when I take laxatives, which I did to my own regret. What is wrong with me and what causes it? Can it hurt me?

And excuse me for only being FOURTEEN! God, Its not my job yet to call the doctor and ask for the damn results, its my mothers. And not that its any of your buisness, but She acts more like a kid than myself, so, if you insits on assuming (*** out of you and me) that I have the capabilities to obtain the results on my own. Then shove off. No offence. Honeslty If I had the capability to recieve the results, than I would infact DO SO. (Technicaly, this is mainly directed to one person of whom I will not name, even though quite obviouse) This will most likrly get deleted but I have such a lack of caring that if they'd let me I'd delete it myself.

Answers:

first you need to see a specialist, for your kidneys, then a cardiologists for circulation problems, sounds like your retaining fluid, and we need to find out what is causing this...find out if anyone in family has any issues like the ones u r having.
