Weight loss (or not)?

I have been working so hard at they gym to take off some weight. I have been at it for two months now and I got on the scale two days ago and had only lost 5 pounds (grrr) got on the scale today and four of those pounds were back...WTF is that!??? I have an IUD, i would hate to think that was the reason, but I didnt even think that four pounds could pile back on in two days... advice?


Answers:

First off, it could be water weight, so don't panic. What is your diet like? You need to burn more calories than you consume in order to lose weight. Make some healthy changes to your eating habits. More lean protein, whole grains, fruits & veggies and water water water. And keep at it at the gym. Alternate between cardio and light weight/resistance training. I've been using a resistance band and a stability ball for a month and though I haven't lost pounds, I do look tighter and my posture is improving. Losing weight is hard...don't get discouraged!
