Can I lose 20 pounds by July?!


Question: Can I lose 20 pounds by July!?
Hi, I'm 16 and weigh about 140, and I'm about 5'8!.5"
How can I lose about 20 pounds before the end of june!? How many hours a week should I exercise and how many calories should I consume a day to guarantee this number!?

Can you also post some free workout videos that you like!? Maybe something longer than 1!.5 minutes!? I don't have time to go to the gym anymore what with finals, but I can run early mornings!. Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

here's what you're gonna do 3x a week (spread out)!. it's called HiiT (high intensity inverval training)!. the workout is only 20 minutes long, but it will boost your metabolism to burn 9x more than an hour on the tread mill!. so what you do is walk for one minute, then run for one, then walk, run, walk, run, etc!. for one minute each until you get to 20!. HOWEVER, it's not that easy because during the run, you should really be pushing yourself to the point that you don't think you'll be able to take it anymore!. you many have to play with the speed to see where you are!. and eventually the run speed will get higher and higher as you get in better shape!. pick another two days a week to do either a regualr paced jog or go ride a bike around!. or even go for a few mile walk outside!. you're gonna want to rest on your days off from HiiT cuz it's intense!.

Now, being fit is 80% diet, so NO MORE sugars (including sugar from fruit), chips, sodas (unless it's a diet soda) fattening foods, fried foods, or any junk food, period!!! eat lean meats like chicken breast and fish or egg whites even!. eat your carbs for breakfast in the form of oat meal or cream of wheat!. you can have some carbs at lunch too, but not much and none for dinner!. lunch should either be a healthy sandwhich or a little bit of brown rice and chicken or fish!. dinner chicken or fish and veggies!. if you're hungry in between meals and want a snack, have an egg white or two!. seriously, learn how to portion your meals!. pay attention here: eat until you are no longer hungry--NOT until you're full!. you'll learn the difference if you pay close attention!. if you're looking more for a number to hit, then reduce your maintainance calories by 500 per day!.

what a healthy sandwhich is considered to be is something like this (it's what i eat) turkey on wheat with just lettuce, tomato and very light on may or none at all!. you can add pickles and stuff, but i just personally don't like them!. but don't go adding cheese or anything like that!.

you can eat whatever you want as long as you run10 miles a day and/or swim 5!. and sleep a lot!. you have to remember to eat in many small portions 5+Www@Answer-Health@Com

well u can like start running, from like 6am-7am nd then take a shower do watever u do next then around 3:30pm or when evcer u come back from skool u can go take a lil run again!.!.!.nd then go and take a shower and do your homework!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there, yes you can!. You need to keep up your motivation and you can do it!. To keep myself motivated I had a graph on the fridge door of my weight and recorded it every week!. I also had a daily diary of exercise that I followed and ticked every time I did what I said I would!.

You need to excercise at least 3 times per week for half an hour at a rate that is cardiovascular training!. That means jogging for you by the sounds of it!. If you can fit in more, all the better!.

Dont' worry about counting calories, just eat healthy stuff!. Keep away from cheese, alcohol, anything fatty like chips etc!. Drink loads of water, eat fruit, lean meat, veggies and salad!.

If you do both these things I can almost guarentee that you will lose the weight you want!. If your weight has been fairly stable at 140 lbs for a while then all you need to do is cut down on the calories you intake and increase the amount of exercise you do (although minimum is 30 mins solid exercise per week) and you will definitely lose weight, probably about the 2lb per week rate which is healthy!.

Trust me, I did this and I got from 170 lbs to 140 lbs!. The real difficulty is staying motivated - might not be easy when you have final exams coming up!. Good Luck thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated!. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract!. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it!.

Then also try to find a well balance diet program!. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days!.
