Question: I'm having trouble with my weight!. Any suggestions!? Diets!?
So I'm 16 and i am about 140-145 pounds at 5'7"!. I have a butt, on the big side, I have hips, my thighs sometimes touch when I walk or when I'm just standing, and I have around B-C breasts!. No matter what anyone tells me, I feel like i should slim down a lot but I don't know what I should do!. I play sports year round and i eat healthy but I don't know what else to do!. I don't know if I'm eating too much or I don't work out enough!. And being heavy does not run in my family!. Not even a little bit!. Soon I'm going to have to try on swim suits and i think this year is going to be the worst!. Does anyone have any ideas, diets, tricks, etc!. to help me slim down!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exersise lots, but don't over do it!.!.just moving(doesn't need to be strenuous) burns calories!. To loose weight you must burn more calories than you take in!.

My tips for loosing weight

Don't sit down at your pc or watch tv for more than 30 mins without getting up for 10-15 and moving about!. just walk around!.!.!.do some jumping jacks, stretch!.

Drink 5-10 8 ounce glasses of ICE water!. The hitch there is the ice, in an 8 ounce glass of ICE WATER your body must burn 17!.5 calories to warm the water to your body tempature!. Try to drink Ice water in place of other drinks or luke warm water!.


Lots of water
Stretch in the morning and evening before you go to bed
Get 60 minutes of exersise(doesn't need to be strenuious) each day


Do NOT eat these foods or drinks
Try to stay as far away from bread as possible!.!.a little is okay
Energy drinks
Drinks with sugar in them
Regular soda
sweets(ice cream,candy,cake,)


A portion of food is the size of YOUR fist!. make a fist and mesure that amount of the food your eating!. Thats a good portion size for you!.

Don't eat after 7 pm( If you have to try not to make it alot)

And most of all just have fun!. Whenever your moving!. no matter how small or short you are burning calories :D

Yup most people lsoe 3lbs the first week of dieting and 2lbs a week from there on :)

Free foods:
Black coffe
Lettuce
Salad
celery



200-300 cals for breakfast
60 cal snack
300-400 cals for lunch
60 cal snack
400-500 cals for dinner


Loads of water, I mean a lot!!! and spike it with some citrus fruit as this has an enzyme in it

First of all, you're not overweight! At 5'7" that is a healthy weight!. Do a google search for BMI (body mass index) if you don't believe me!.

If you still want to slim down a little, reduce your calorie intake by about 500 calories per day!. Make sure your remaining calories all come from healthy foods!. You seem to be pretty active, so I think think that should do it!.

Just be sure not to over do it!. Too skinny isn't a good thing!. It sounds to me as though you're suffering from a poor body image, which is a very common problem amongst woman!. I hope everything works out for you!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with what the other person told you but the part about eating high carb foods !.!.!.is a big no-no!.
Personally i think your weight sounds fine for your height! Your at the age where your body is changing!. I gained the most weight when i was 16 too!. Then when i was 17 i slimmed down!. Getting out doors now that is warmer is the best thing to do!. Snack on apples, they give you lots of natural energy! Drink water and not eating after 7 is a good idea but sometimes it's too difficult so eat healthy!. Turning it in to your life style will be easy for you in the long run!.
I think your weight is fine you just prolly need to tone up!
I started going to the park and running since i dont have time to go to a gym!. Squats will tone your legs and that butt!. If you love to dance, it's also a great work out!. I actually started mowing the lawn with a push mower (it's a great work out)!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calorie shifting might be the answer!. My daughter did some research on the web and found a lot of articles explaining what calorie shifting is!. Apparently this type of diet triggers your metabolism and fools your body into burning calories!. She found this site on the web called dietaccess!.com!. It cost about $40 to download!. She input some of the foods she likes to eat and it generates an 11-day meal plan!. You can drink any diet soda, iced tea with lemon, coffee, water or any low-calorie drink (less than 10 calories per glass)!. They can be consumed as often as you like each day with no limit!. The only condiments you can use are lemon juice, ketchup, barbecue sauce, salsa, salt, pepper, mustard and seasoning salts!. After 11 days you get 3 "cheat" days where you can eat anything you want for 3 straight days!. Then you log back on to the site and it generates a new 11 day menu!. She just recently completed the second 11 day cycle and lost pounds each cycle, starting at a weight of 192 at 5'7"!. She also walks/runs at least 1 mile every other day!. As long as your on a healthy diet and Exercising there should be no problem!. But It seems you still have this problem!.

You should ALWAYS eat 3 meals a day!

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!.

This gives you a good metabolism and you are certain you are not missing out on any vitimins!.

You can eat healthy but try not to have too much of it!.
I snack on Fruit or Nuts at least twice or 3 times a week!. (as your 16 during your period snacking is always a problem and if you find a fruit or nut you adore you can eat that as your snack, you may also find it fun trying out different Fruits or Nuts! I did!.)

Im a big chocolate lover but this is a very fatty snack so if im DYING for chocolate always get Dark chocolate or Cadburys light!.

This is what I had yesterday!.!.!.

Breakfast
Special K Bliss (Cranberries and Nuts)
Cleansing Tea (Not too strong or too weak, you can get this in many different flavours!. Flushes away all acids or anything not needed)
1 Apple (make sure you have 5 fruits a day!!!)

Lunch
1 Banana
Skinny Latte (At work from Cafe Nero)
A tuna sandwich (Seeded bread)
Liter of Water (I take this to work and i find i get really thirsty if im working hard! And its good for your skin)

Dinner
Grilled Steak
Boiled baby potatoes
Steamed Veg (Broccoli, Colliflour, baby carrots)
A glass of Orange Juice

Snacks
Handful of Nuts
Fruits whenever i get a chocolate craving!

So thats what I eat!.!.!.

I also do alot of exercise to burn off excess fats!.
Swimming- Mon and Fri
Yoga- Wed and when ever i feel like going on my Wii as I have the mat (I recommend getting that- it tells you your BMI and weight! So cool!)
And Gym with my mate on Weekends!.
