At my gym there are different modes that do specific things!. The fat burning programme has two modes, each giving a different session!.
You could either work your way up to a high resistance and stay there for a set period of time (at least 15 minutes) and then work down with a little peak at the end!.
Or you can do lil repititions of going up and down resistance with each repitition (of up and down) taking about 7 minutes!.

You can do these at different starting resistance (IE not just the lowest) as then your body will work harder!.

I suppose this would only work on a bike that you can change the resistance electronically otherwise you would have to keep getting on and off and that would defeat the object!Www@Answer-Health@Com
