Question: Is it better to eat before or after excercising!?
i want to lose weight and tone up!. preferably in that order!. would it be best to eat before or after a workout, if i am looking to get rid of the fat before i gain muscle!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should never ever EVER work out with absolutely nothing in your tummy!. For a second, think of your body as a car and the food you eat during meals is like the gas you put into the car to make it run!. Your body needs to store small "biomolecules" called carbohydrates such as proteins and amino acids which are used to convert into energy when you exercise!. Without carbs, your body will be running on empty and this can cause serious injury and unneeded stress to your muscles!. Not eating before exercise can also result in a low blood sugar level which can leave you feeling faint and weak!. When working out, always have a bottle of some sort of liquid on hand (preferably water) because you definitely do not want to be overly dehydrated, and always eat at least SOMETHING!. If you are concerned about what to eat , keep this in mind: if you work out in the morning, eat a big breakfast so that your body has a "full tank"of stored energy!. Another good rule to follow is to eat meals three or four hours before working out so that your digestive system has enough time to sort out everything and will not be competing with the rest of your body for time to work!.

Afterwards, to put the sugars back into your muscles!.

You should eat a little bit before you work out so that you have energy to make it through your workout!. After you workout, make sure you don't eat a lot afterwards!.

People sometimes over eat because they think that since they worked out, they're entitled to eat a little more!. As a result, they don't get the results they want!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As I know it, if you want to loose weight, then you eat before you work out!. Eating before you work out gets your metabolism running so that you can burn more calories during your work out!. However, this depends on what time you work out during the day, what time you eat your meals, and how many meals you have!. we have something in common cause im doing the same thing!. so i eat and then i excercise after i eat !. so far so good!. so try it that way ,its working for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
