Grapefruit, fat burner?...?!
Question:
Grapefruit, fat burner?...?
is grapefruit really a fat burner, and how would you go about incooperating that in a diet?... would you eat/drink grapefruit in the morning, just to start the breaking down of fats through the day, or would you recommend having it before every meal?...
Answers:
Grapefruit is not a fat burner, what it does is it helps the body keep insulin levels stable, thus making it easier to avoid eating too many carbs. While not its primary function, insulin assists with the regulation of fat metabolism. Therefore, the smaller the insulin spike after a meal, the more efficiently the body processes food for use as energy and the less it’s stored as fat in the body.
You should start by drinking 8 ounces of grapefruit juice three times a day, together with your meals, to avoid stomach irritation.
