I'm dieting and exercising and GAINING weight.. Why?!

I'm dieting and exercising and GAINING weight.. Why?

Ok I am dieting. I have cut out sugar, fast food, etc out of my diet and I am keeping my intake around 1500 calories a day. I am also doing cardio 5-6 days a week, burning approximately 800-1000 calories a visit. Why am I suddenly gaining weight after losing 45 lbs?


Answers:

You have lost you initial 45 pounds then you plateaued and now you are gaining muscle mass through your exercise. Muscle weighs more than fat. Maybe you lost all you need to but keep up the healthy lifestyle.
