Running and losing weight?!


Question: Running and losing weight!?
Right now I am 169 lbs and I want to get to 135lbs--If i wake up every morning at 4am doing yoga then a 45 min!. -50 min!. long distance run, Can I lose weight and have a smaller butt by this workout plan!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is a good workout plan, but remember that lack of sleep can hinder your best weight loss efforts!. Instead of getting up at 4am to do this, I would make running a priority!. Try 60 minutes a day, 5 days a week!. Take your yoga routine and do that 1 day a week!. Maybe work in a few of the moves after running to keep you flexible since running can bind up your muscles if you don't stretch properly!. Yoga will not be really effective for calorie burning (i!.e!. weight loss), but it will help your flexibility and it mixes very well with distance running!. Don't forget your diet too!. Stick to 1500 calories a day of lean protein, good fats, and lots of fruits, veggies, and fiber!. Make sure you don't undo all the good exercise did by eating too many calories to lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yoga doesnt really help

To lose weight you have to try to reduce the simple carbohydrates you consume every day and even cut them out of your diet!. Simple carbs include
bread

spaghetti

Table sugar


Cakes

Biscuits - plain

Jam

Chocolate

Fudge

Candy

Toffee

Gums

Boiled sweets

Mint Sweets

Liquorice

Honey

Soft drinks

Tinned fruits

Chutney

Pickle

Puddlings - some

After you have successfully rid your body of those you have to work on gaining muscle!.
Going to the gym and jogging for a couple of minutes will do ABSOLUTELY NO HELP to your fat!.
You have to do weightlifting, not till you bulge like a watermelon, but so that your body is toned!. After that jogging and other simpler workouts will help since the muscles youve gained consume alot of calories while doing even simple tasks!.
You have to keep in mind though that when working out you only lose your FAT DEPOSITS AFtER YOU HAVE WASTED ALL OF THE CALORIES YOU HAVE CONSUMED THAT DAY!.
You will know when that happens because you will start to feel faint!. at that moment DO NOT STOP WORKING OUT!.
You have to take a little 5-10 minute break(during that break dont eat but drink alot of water) then go back to your workout but at a slower pace!. That will help you lose alot of weight through time!.

Also i know alot of people who have stopped eating and it doesnt work so dont try it because if you stop eating for awhile, when you start to eat again you become way fatter!.

here's what you're gonna do on the treadmill 3x a week (spread out)!. it's called HiiT (high intensity inverval training)!. the workout is only 20 minutes long, but it will boost your metabolism to burn 9x more than an hour on the tread mill!. so what you do is walk for one minute, then run for one, then walk, run, walk, run, etc!. for one minute each until you get to 20!. HOWEVER, it's not that easy because during the run, you should really be pushing yourself to the point that you don't think you'll be able to take it anymore!. you many have to play witht he speed to see where you are!. and eventually the run speed will get higher and higher as you get in better shape!. pick another two days a week to do either a regualr paced jog or go ride a bike around!. or even go for a few mile walk outside!. you're gonna want to rest on your days off from HiiT cuz it's intense!.

Now, being fit is 80% diet, so NO MORE sugars (including sugar from fruit), chips, sodas (unless it's a diet soda) fattening foods, fried foods, or any junk food, period!!! eat lean meats like chicken breast and fish or egg whites even!. eat your carbs for breakfast in the form of oat meal or cream of wheat!. you can have some carbs at lunch too, but not much and none for dinner!. lunch should either be a healthy sandwhich or a little bit of brown rice and chicken or fish!. dinner chicken or fish and veggies!. if you're hungry in between meals and want a snack, have an egg white or two!. seriously, learn how to portion your meals!. pay attention here: eat until you are no longer hungry--NOT until you're full!. you'll learn the difference if you pay close attention!. if you're looking more for a number to hit, then reduce your maintainance calories by 500 per day!.

what a healthy sandwhich is considered to be is something like this (it's what i eat) turkey on wheat with just lettuce, tomato and very light on may or none at all!. you can add pickles and stuff, but i just personally don't like them!. but don't go adding cheese or anything like that!.

stick to this and you should probably lose 8 lbs a month in a healthy way!. if in a few months, you stop losing weight for a while!.!.!.take this opportunity to pig out for a day, cuz it will actually confuse your body and you'll start losing weight again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
