Could you not lose weight if you go over your peak heart rate during cardio?!

Question:

Could you not lose weight if you go over your peak heart rate during cardio?

I heard that if your heart rate is too high you may not lose weight. Is this true?

Answers:

NOT TRUE, it is said that when you heart rate is high you will only be working out the cardio aspect of your body and not fat burning. When you look at it to do any cardio you need energy and your body uses fat as energy, so you will lose weight any how. For best results do the cardio for 30 min or more no less.
