Does Bupropion really make you gain weight?!


Question: Does Bupropion really make you gain weight!?
I've been on it for about 4 weeks!. I can tell a major difference in my attitude!. I don't stay so mad, but I swear I'm gaining weight!. I will also ask the doc on Monday!.

If anything, Bupropion is known to cause weightloss, and is often used by doctors in combination with other drugs for weightloss!. If you have stopped smoking and this is why you are on Bupropion, the lack of nicotine is probably causing weight gain because you are consuming too many calories for somebody whose body is no longer constantly flushing out toxins anymore!.

If you are depressed and this is why you are taking Bupropion, odds are you probably don't exercise much, as I don't know many depressed people who exercse!. Exercise has helped me far more than Bupropion ever did!. I was on it for 5 years and all it did was allow me to wake up easier and feel more productive while at the same time my capacity for learning was decreased!. yes, it can!. i also take bupropion and have noticed weight gain, so i called the pharmacy!. they said that many anti-depressants have weight gain as a side effectWww@Answer-Health@Com
