What kinds of food are they talking about? And about how much of this kind of food? I need to lose weight and I have heard that this is the best way. Do you think so?

Small breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeat, 1 med. banana, 1/2 cup milk or yogurt
Morning Snack: baby carrots, low-fat/low-sodium cheese and crackers, 1/2 cup of milk
Lunch: Turkey sandwich (whole wheat bread, no cheese & very little mayo), apple, 100 calorie snack pack
Afternoon snack: small salad w/ very little dressing
Dinner: Broiled fish, green beans, 1/2 cup rice, 1/2 cup milk
Dessert: fruit parfait or glass of wine w/ dinner...never both
The object is to eat very small meals throughout the day. Always include alot of water with every meal and in-between.
