How to tone love handles? 13 year old boy?!


Question: How to tone love handles!? 13 year old boy!?
Hi, I need a little help!. I am a 13 year old boy, and am 5'11 with shoes on, and about 135-140 pounds!. I am in NO way fat at all, but just want to tone and get in shape!. I am just about to start lifting weights again, as I did stop a few weeks ago!. I am active most of the time, I play basketball as my favorite sport!. What I need help with is food, and excersizes!. I eat real healthy, but I need some gidelines!. Like what not to eat and how much to eat!. I know I have to eat as a growing boy, but I also don't want to eat too much, so I can still be in shape!. Do you think it would be alright if I ate 2000 calories on a day where I was pretty active, and about 1600-1800 on a day where I was not!? And my main concern with getting in shape is, well, my "Love Handles"!. They aren't huge, or really fat, I would just like to tighten them up, and get those defined lines on my hips!. To to that, do I do ab and side excersizes!? or will that just make them bigger!? Thanks to all and sorry its so long!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, I have to get one thing out of the way, and that is at 13, your body is going through A LOT of changes!. Doing anything too drastic exercise wise could have an adverse effect and be harmful to your body!.

That being said, run!. Cardio is the best exercise for loosing body fat, and is still pretty neutral on your body!. Also, don't drink soda!. Do not eat "junk" food, cut back on refined sugars (like candy and cakes!.!.!.) and eat more fiber (fruits and veggies--especially the green ones!)

Another think that you can do is crunches!. Very these and do different kinds!.!.!. like ten normal, ten where you bring your right elbow to your left knee, and ten the opposite-- just as an example!.

It is awesome that you are taking notice of your health right now, and I think that you will be just fine if you eat properly and do a cardio workout, and be patient with your maturing body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can't lose weight in one area!.you can tone it up, but there is still fat under and even above the muscle!.!.soi recomend you start running crosscountry, this will burn any excess fat if you really try hard to run everyday, it is also just a good habit to take up!.!.you can also do some ab excercises in the meantime!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I worried about how i looked when i was 13 (im now 18), but trust me dont worry about how defined your hips look or anything like that, just live your life, and be young!! Dont try and grow up and worry about your body to young!.
Just play sports and itll keep you in tip top condition im sure at your age!.

Or get a nintendo Wii, they keep you moving and on your toes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

first of all dude your 13 dont worry about it,ive been bodybuilding now for 10 years and eat sometimes 7000 cals a day,the key is to eat pretty much what you want but in 6 small meals (1 meal every 2-3 hours to put weight on)
4-5 small meals a day every 3-4 hours to drop body weight!.!.!.
as for love handles the best exersice you can do that really works and shapes 40% of your body is squats!.!.do them to broaden your shoulders,slim your waist,thicken your lower back,build your calves and thighsWww@Answer-Health@Com
