Is he overweight?
My dad is 60 years old, weighs 210 pounds and is around 6'2. is this overweight? his doctor, whom i think is crazy, told him he needs to lose 20 lbs in 6 months or he will become diabetic. He is extremly active, holds a full time job, has a seven- year-old son, plays golf, is fairly muscular, and even puts the Christmas lights on our house. Now he is stressing and eating less and less each day. We have no family history of diabetes, no one in out family has even gotten dibetes.. so is this overweight?

you can check his bmi but even if it says he is overweight he may not be you mentioned that he is fairly muscular...that may be some of the weight so it really depends ask a different doctor
