im 5'9, 16 yrs old, and weigh 179

burning 1000 calories is really as much as a professional athlete burns, and look how much they have to eat to keep their muscles healthy with that much activity!! The more you exercize the more you have to eat, and the more you will end up eating (because your body needs it at that level of activity) unless you sew your mouth together or something crazy like that. To loose weight its much better to exercize moderately and eat less.
