What do you think...weight related question?!

Question:

What do you think...weight related question?

I am a very large person...over 300 lbs on my 5'5" frame, but I haven't always been. When I was in High School, I ranged from 125 to 145. Slowly I have crept up to the weight I am now. I am 36 years old and still don't know how to help myself where food is concerned. Anyway, my question is...do you think the larger the person the bigger the issues? I have found that the bigger I am, the more things I worry about. Whereas some of the things I worry about have always been there, it is like I keep denying feelings even more, so therefore I eat more and I get bigger along with the issues. I was just wondering if that is true of some of you who struggle with your weight...and also would like to know what those of you who don't struggle think about what I have said.

So, the bigger the person, the bigger the issues..or not?

Answers:

I don't think so...but you may have a food addiction which may be making things harder. Also, high cortisol levels (a hormone found in fat) can make issues seem bigger than they are. Try some counseling, and you may be even able to solve the weight problem too! Your problems may be making you fat, not vice versa.
