Carbs, sugars and calories.?!


Question: Carbs, sugars and calories!.!?
I don't understand it all, say if I were to eat an apple [45 calories] and worked off the calories!.
And say my sister might eat 45 calories worth of candy but worked off the calories!.!.
Does it really make a difference what you eat as long as you burn it off!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As far as providing strictly energy for the body, no!. But the apple brings along other nutrition that would be missing in the candy, obviously!. That nutrition can impact on other body processes, including how well you digest and utilize other carbohydrates!. The sugars in the apple take work by the body to convert to a form it can use, where the sugar in the candy will likely come in a ready to use form!. It will hit the blood a lot quicker, causing a spike in insulin production to reduce it!. The apple will be converted more slowly, requireing more calories to be burned in the process of conversion!. The candy sugar spike will increase your risk of insulin resistance developing, and that will cause a slow weight gain over time!. As a one off incident, no- the impact won't be that noticeable and probably won't result in a net gain or loss either way!. But as with all things related to the body, it's the pattern over long term- not one time, that you need to look at as well!. Eating the apple is more sensible than the candy, for reasons other than the calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it makes no difference how many calories you consume or where they came from if you burn them off by exercising!. Eg if one weighing about 180 LB eats one chocolate bar of 100 gram and walks for one hour or two such chocolates and then walks for two hours all calories from the chocolates will be burnt just the same!.

Likewise eating 50 grams of chocolate or two large oranges they will both be burnt with about 30 minutes of walking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, you'd be getting more nutrtion (vitamins, etc) from the apple than your sister would from the candy!.

But weight-wise it will not make much of a difference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
