Question: Help! On a diet and!.!.!.!?
Help! I want to eat this little pizza slice infront of me but i'm on a diet and I want it but I will feel bad after but their so good I need inspiration I need to lose 10 pounds Help! Tell me not to eat it, it's easy points!.!.!. and if I was to eat it and then throw it up would I gain calories or if I chewed but didn't swallow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated!. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract!. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it!.

Then also try to find a well balance diet program!. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days!. Never *ever* make yourself vomit after eating anything! You are asking for problems that are far worse than carrying some extra weight!. How about wrapping the pizza slice up and putting it away!? If you don't see it, you probably won't be as tempted!. And remind yourself that you can have it for dinner if you absolutely *must* eat it today!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is the problem with dieting I find that it makes people feel guilty for wanting to eat something they enjoy!.

If you slowly modify the way you eat for instance, change white rice for brown rice, canned peaches for fresh peaches etc!. The goal is to take something out and replace it with something else that's better!. Not to deprive yourself of something!. When you do that, then you binge and end up feeling guilty!. I tell my clients if you want it, eat it! satisfy the craving!
If you want to go for ice cream, get it, it doesn't mean that you get the biggest cone there is, you are just satisfying the craving!. Once the craving is satisfied move on!. However if you find yourself binging frequently then we have to deal with the emotions and not the food itself!.
