Question: Pros and cons of drinking more water!?
Hi, I am 175cm height and 59kgs weight, and I want to increase my weight, some one suggested me to have 3-4 liters of water daily along with eating good food and excersise!.
And My doubts are
1!. Drinking more water reduces weight, i read this some where, how can it be good to increase weight
2!. Drinking more water leads to blood dilution and some other urinary problems, is that true

Pros: water is great for your skin, detoxifying your body, keeping you hydrated and weight reduction (it makes the fat cells easier to dissolve)

Cons: You will need to urinate a lot but thats about it!.

Water does not make you lose weight by just drinking it, you need to exersize in order for the fat cells do dissolve!.

People should drink about 2 to 2 and half litres of water a day!.

Good question; there seems to be a lot of contoversy lately about how much water to drink (although I've never heard of your #2)!. You may want to just google it and check out some of the many results!.

As far as water doesn't reduce your weight: Some people feel full when they drink a lot of water, which causes them to eat less, which is not the same thing as the water itself making them lose weight!. Personally I drink about 12 cups a day (that's about 4 liters I think) and it never makes me feel full!. I've also read that water helps your cells metabolize fat, so if you don't drink enough of it, your body may hold on to that extra fat, plus you will retain water as well (water weight)!. So I guess theoretically, you could gain weight by drinking less water!. But that would definitely be bad for your health!.

Don't drink water immediately after your food for atleast 15 mts, If you are thirsty have only 100 ml!.You can drink 3-4 litres of water,if you are really working out or exercising or jogging for 2-3 hrs!.If you are not working out, don't drink more than 2 litres!.

In summer you have to drink lots of water it will save you from being dehydrated!.
