Question: Snacks !?!?!?!?!?!?
ok so i finally decided that instead of eating twinkies and brownies and cookies for breakfast that i was gonna eat healthy right now im not overweight to some ppl im skinny but i eat really bad and i already have high cholesteral but i do sports so im still good but i decided to eat healthy snacks but nothing i know is healthy and actually tastes good so what r some snacks that taste good cuz i hate like veggies and stuff so i don't know what to do thnx srry this is soo longWww@Answer-Health@Com

something that I love because it is sweet, but also gives you protein, calcium and a lot of vitamins is Breakfast, it's a powder that you mix in your milk and it still tastes really good

also trail mix, because it has nuts and M&Ms so its healthy and sweet

fruit with granola and yogurt

try getting oat cereals, theyre better than thery sound or look, especially the Flax cereal

wheat thins chips are also really good and they also have a lot of grains

and last but not least, baked chips, they are healthy cuz theyre not fried and drowned in salt and seasoning

ps try baking fries, thats really good with some ketchup!!!

Well, if you want to lower your cholesterol you are going to have to eat your veggies!. Veggies are an extremely important part of your diet, because they provide you with important vitamins and minerals and anti-oxidants, as well as soluble fiber which helps keep you regular!. If you really don't like veggies, try going for fruits like grapes and apples and mangos!. They have that satisfying sweetness and are also healthy for you!.

Yes I know what you mean, except I am overweight (in my eyes) but I cant seem to get away from snacking!. SO, I decided to choose healthier snacks!. I now snack on those 100 calorie packets of cookies/crackers, I will eat a bowl of cereal (whichever ones that are full of nuts/fruit) with skim milk, and I like fruit, especially frozen fruit in smoothies!. PLUS, since
I am a coffee fanatic, I drink my hot and iced coffees with Splenda or whatever sugar substitute I can get my hands on with non-dairy creamer!.

Try snacking on crackers that are 97% fat free!. Try eating a different variety of foods!. Try almonds, banana chips, puffed corn and seeds like sunflower seeds!. Look at items from the health food section at your local supermarket!. Try introducing healthier foods into your diet slowly for example wholemeal bread and pasta or bread with more seeds!. If you don't like vegies much try putting something on them- salsa sauce, peanut butter etc!. It is great you are trying to eat healthy!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fruits & veggies are actually the best nutritious snacks!.
Try granola or oatmeal for breakfast, with milk & honey!.
You can add dried fruit like raisins or cranberries to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Switching to a whole foods diet gradually would be very healthful!. Raw nuts and seeds make for great convenient snacks especially if you aren't concerned about weight gain!.

Try 1/2 cup Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla Yogurt, 1/2 cup fresh strawberries sliced and 1/4 cup Kashi GoLean Crunch cereal (similar to granola)!. Only 100 calories and sooo good and filling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't say all the right info alone works,cause I can't continually eat right!.I do however know that when you make yourself eat a certain way,for a period of time,you will acquire a taste for that food!. You can't eat healthy every day of the week unless you are seasoned,and determined too,at least most people I know can't!. My Doctors advise is to eat healthy Mon-Fri , and have what you like on week-ends!. (reasonably) There are a variety of healthy granola,and low fat bars that work great,and a lot of trail mix variety's you can choose from!.I know you said you don't like veggies,but you got to have them in your diet!.So many reasons why,from lowering cancer risks,to boosting your immune system,to being regular!.It is just important!. Be on the look out for things that you like!.Look for a Feel Right or another health food store,and investigate!. Go for it, you will be glad you did!! Godspeed!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
