Why do we unconsciously screw up our eyes when doing hard work-out exercises?!

Question: Why do we unconsciously screw up our eyes when doing hard work-out exercises!?
I notice that if we are doing particularly difficult pull-downs, say, or pec!. exercises in the gym, that when we are nearing the end of a 20-push set, or when we are nearing our load-limit, for instance, we all scrunch up our eyes and other face muscles!.

It can't possibly do any good, so why do we do it!? Some primeval response, clearly,!.!.!. but what is it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I seldom have that problem!.

That's a true sign that you're dehydrated!. Always keep your body hydrated with water even when you're not thirsty!. By the time you're thirsty, your body is already dehydrated!.

Are you powerlifting!? Another factor can be that you're using more weight than you should!. Concentrate on quality muscle, not quantity muscle!. That is, concentrate on moderate weight and your form!. If you're used to lifting heavy, then it shouldn't be difficult, especially pull downs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think its just your bodys way of trying to get those last few reps!. You push as hard as you can and some extra muscles are going to flex just from the strain!. I think its similar to how people do poor technique with curls or squating, to make the reps easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
