How can i lose weight in two months fast?

i have from now til end of summer to lose anything up to 40 pounds. i want to do it fast but idk waht type of exercise to do. i cant get a gym membership they are too far from my house and i dont drive. does anyone know any type of exercises i can do at home and lose weight. or a good diet i can go on or food that i can eat that will help me lose weight. please help

You can lose two pounds a week on a healthy diet and exercise program.

Diet: fruits, veggies, whole grains (bread and pastas), and lean protein (eggs, lean meat, skim milk, light cheese and yogurt, tofu, soy).These sorts of things should be the staples of your diet. Eat every 3 or 4 hours to rev your metabolism and DO NOT SKIP MEALS!!!!

Exercise: consistency is key, and to be consistent, its important that you like working out. This means you have to find an activity you enjoy. I would suggest either walking around your neighborhood or buying a workout DVD such as Tae Bo or Pilates. Other ideas are jump roping, swimming, running...there are lots of options. But chances are if you have to force yourself to workout and you dread doing it, you will not stick with it and you will not get results.
