I'm on a diet! i need to know all about it. what do i look for more in the nutritional facts and less?
Do I need more of this and less of that like sodium vitamins and fats and calories!

You definitely want to look for less fat, particularly saturated fat. You want to look for MORE fiber. The more fiber per serving, the more diet friendly a food is. Generally foods high in fiber are low in fat. You also want to minimize your calories. Keep in mind you have to eat 3500 less than normal to lose a pound in one week. Also keep in mind your calorie intake should not be less than 1000 per day or you're just hurting your body.
You should start taking a multi-vitamin (if it's ok with your dr) and increase your protein intake. Lean protein is your best bet (egg white, chicken breast, etc).
So look for low sat fat, high fiber, and lean protein. Good luck!
