Any good advice on becoming a vegetarian?

I've been working on it for 3 weeks. I feel better in general, but sometimes I'm light-headed and fatigued. Also, I'm running out of ideas on how to balance meals every day. I find that it requires a lot of creativity!

Congratulations on making a healthy choice! I hope you're able to stay with it. I've been a vegetarian for seven years and I feel better physically and mentally because of it.

It's pretty clear you're not getting enough protein. Try this - try adding nuts to your diet. Nuts give you protein and are easier to get used to than some protein choices. Also, you might try adding canned beans (kidney, black, chickpeas, white, lentils, etc) to salads or to your soups. Beans are an excellent source of protein, as well. A few of them in a sandwich or even on spaghetti (in sauce, of course) will help.
