eat about 500-1000 cals above your maintenance calories!.!.!. usually that's 14-15 cals per lb!.!.!. so if you are at 120 lbs, you should be eating 1700-1800 cals per day!.!.!. 4-6 meals per day will help keep you hungry in between meals!.!.!. try jogging 2-3 times per week for half an hour!.!.!. on weekends, eat 3000-5000 cals!.!.!. do this for two to three weeks, and you will be a human furnace!.!.!. after those 2 or 3 weeks, you get back to 12-14 cals/ lb to diet!.!.!. and stick with it!.!.!. then start increasing your exercise!.

weight training is the key to a fast metabolism!. more muscle, means more mitochondria!.!.!. more mitochondria means a higher need for energy!.!.!. this in term will increase your basal metabolic rate!.!.!.

have a meal every four to five hours in order to keep the body busy!. food has a thermal effect on the body in which it will continue working and boost metabolism!. try incorporating healthy snack foods to pack in those needed nutrients!.

never skip breakfast!. breakfast immediately after waking up helps control weight!. the body's metabolic rate sharply slows during the night while sleeping and eating breakfast is one way of revving it up again!.

exercise is also an effective way in boosting metabolism, as this forces the heart to work harder and eventually increase blood circulation!. try to do aerobic or cardio exercise four time a week and resistance training at least three times a week!.

you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At 19, I'm a rarity in the world with an extremely speedy metabolism!. I can't gain weight even when I try, but to revive your metabolism I would think the easiest way to go is to begin minimal weight training and aerobic exercise!.

You need to eat 5 times a day!. 3 meals and 2 snacks!. ALWAYS eat breakfast within 20 minutes of waking so that you can break the fast you were in while sleeping!.

Eat approximately every 2!.5 to 3 hours!. Also, if you are not already, start exercising and if you need to drop body fat you do your cardio at 60% to 70% of your maximal heart rate!. It can be programmed on treadmills and ellipticals!. That is the zone when your body will use fat as energy!. Also, make your workouts consist of cardio, resistance training and core strengthening!.

This will get your metabolism going and boost it to be more efficient!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
