Answers:

It's bad. Here' why.

1) When you lift weights, you tear muscle. You need protein to repair the muscle. Grapes are basically just sugar.

2) You won't have the energy to do the workout properly. weight lifting burns ATP. When you're out of ATP, it burns glucose (from the grapes). the biproducts of it are lactic acid and ammonia which are toxins. What's going to happen is that you'll get the burn (lactic acid and ammonia) before you get any meaningful workout in.

3) Its unhealthy. You're breaking down protein and not replacing it with anything. You're just going to lose muscle mass and that can be very dangerous.

4) Your metabolism slows down, so it doesn't work anyway.

You should relistically set your goals to lose 2-4 lbs a week. You need to have a calorie deficit of 3000 calories in order to lose a single lbs. I would recommend that you eat like 2000 calories a day like normal and then just do an 800 cal workout every night with some weightlifting mixed in 3 times a week. Your body burns calories standing still but you need to gain muscle and lose fat to increase the standing rate metabolism. You need energy and protein to do that.

Get over your X. Focus on looking better in a year than his crash coarse diet that will inevitably change. I would rather run into that person a year down the road when you're smoking hot and he's fat again. It's a better reaction :)

What does it matter what he's doing. He's just trying to get on the market again. Once he gets comfortable again, he's gonna balloon up and you'll stay your pretty self.
