15 year old , recommend protein shakes?!


Question: 15 year old , recommend protein shakes!?
Im 15 years old , i weigh 11 stone/roughly 6foot !. I do weights , sit ups and press ups every day though sometimes i rest a day!. I eat lots of chicken and other meats, i also eat lots of fruit and vegetables!.
Do you think i should buy some protein shakes as i wish to increase my arm muscles!.
If yes , what one's do you think is the best/and cheapest!?!.
If no , why not and whats the dangers of them!?

Protein shakes won't hurt but eating lots of lean protein in your diet should be sufficient-lean proteins are fish (not fried), eggs, chicken!. But at your age you needn't worry over much about that!.

Now if you want to increaase your arm mucles use free weights and do sets specifically for your arms every other day!. Not every day, the way you buildd mucsle is to break them down during exercises and then rest them so that they heal!. I like to do tricep curls, bicep curls and lateral presses!. Use a weight that you can easily do 3 sets of 15 reps!. Then increase your number of reps until you can do 3 sets of 30!. Then and only then increase your weight by 2 1/2 lbs and do the same thing!. Increasing the reps gives strong endurance, increasing the weight bulks the mucsles!. You want both!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
