Question: Does bulimia cause rapid weight loss!? Worried about my friend!?
A friend of mine has recently started excusing herself after every meal, and goes into the restroom!. I confronted her and she admitted she's been throwing up!. I told she needed help, and that her bulimia wouldn't work because she's still ingesting calories!. Am I wrong!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, you arent wrong!. shes probably not throwing up ALL that she eats since shes a [for lack of a better word] n00b!. she will only be able to maintain her current weight!. tell her the only way you can have rapid weight loss from bulimia is to combine it with anorexia & starve as much as you can, & if you have to eat, throw it up!. & i mean throw it up!. all of it until all that comes up is water & sometimes blood!. and if she thinks thats a good idea tell her shes stupid & talk her parents or a counselor!. you know what, threaten her first!. chances are she'll snap out of it!. she may just be in a phase & wants attention!. tell her you dont want to be her friend if shes going to continue down that path!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, bulimia will make you loose weight!. But its terrible for you body!. Your starving it, you will die from lack of nutrition!. Plus every time you vomit you stomach acids come up!. They are very corrosive!. They eat away at your teeth, leaving you with gross looking teeth over years, and it eats away at your esophagus!. Get your friend some help, even if that means breaking her trust by telling someone!. She may get angry at you now, but you are saving her life by doing it, and it may take her time but one day she'll thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are wrong about the weight-she will lose some!. Some are digested but most, depending on how much she gets up, are expelled!. And if she can stop on her own she might not need intervention!.
