Will I do damage to my diet??

I have stopped going to the gym in the last 2 weeks because i've been ill. Maybe hard to believe but im dying to get back to it, but still not feeling 100%. I am not eating just as much as I would normally do so my metabolism should slow down both from lack of food and no exercise, im afraid that if I dont get back into my normal routine soon of eating healthly and more often and going to the gym that I will damage my metabolism and this will result in weight gain

FIRST THING-DO NOT WORRY. EVERYBODY GETS SICK AT SOME POINTOF TIME OR THE OTHER.JUST GIVE ENOUGH TIME FOR YOUR BODY TO RECOVER. YOU CAN ALWAYS GET BACK TO YOUR ROUTINE AFTER THAT. JUST BECAUSE YOU TEMPORARILY SUSPEND YOUR ROUTINE DOESN'T MEAN YOU WOULD DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH.INFACT IF YOU JUMP INTO YOUR ROUTINE WITHOUT BEING 100% YOU MAY END UP IN A WORSE SITUATION. THE SICKNESS COULD RECUR OR YOU COULD BECOME WEAKER. ONCE YOU ARE FULLY FIT YOU CAN GRADUALLY GO BACK TO YOUR NORMAL FOOD AND EXERCISE.BEST WISHES FOR THAT. JUST CONTINUE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH.
