Question: If I run for 1hr 3 days out of a week will I lose 30 pounds by june!?

This is what I learned in my personal fitness class as a guide to loosing and maintaining weight!.

If you want to loose weight, get 90 minutes or more of excersice in at least 3 days a week!. To maintain weight, get at least 60 minutes or more of exercise in at least 3 days a week!. This is assuming that you stay in a recommended caloric range, and be sure to get plenty of calories when exercising to keep your metabolism pumped up!. Also when working out, it is important to include weight training, every pound of muscle gained burns an extra 35 calories per/day!.

If you are not trying to loose or maintain weight and just want to get the health benefits of excersie, do at least 30 minutes of physical exercise daily!.

regardless of the speed of which you walk/run!. Diet will be the key!. You have to burn 3500 calories to lose 1 pound!.

By Keeping a caloric intake of approximately 1200 calories daily, and running one hour 3 days a week you'll lose weight,
To lose 30 lbs by then you had better run 5 days a week and weight train, and even then you'll be pushing it!.

well it matters on your body type and metabolism and stuff!.!.!. but i've been going to the gym six days out of the week doing about an hour or running and another fort-five minutes of lifting for about two months now and i only lost like ten lbs!. i'm already pretty fit though so i think i'm staying the same weight because i'm gaining muscle while losing fat!. but i deff noticed a diff in my clothes, how i feel, and how i look!. So don't worry bout the lbs!. you'll deff notice a diff after a month so get to it!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't say that much, depending on how much you weigh!.

I run/walk on the tredmill for an hour everyday plus eat healthy and have lost 25 pounds since the end of March!. I am also very overweight though!.

I would run/walk at least 5 days a week and maybe add some weight training to boost your metabolism!. Also, it burns calories faster, even when your doing nothing!

20 lbs by June is not a realistic goal!. I'm not trying to be negative!.!.!. running and/or walking 3 days a week is a great idea! But be realistic about your expectations!. Losing 5 or 10 lbs is better than not losing any!. Go for it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might lose about 10-12 lbs!.!.!.but don't look at just lbs lost-it might not show up on the scale but your clothes will definitely be looser and you'll lose inches!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
