Toneing my legs and losing belly fat?

I am walking a mile and on the next lap i add some running and i do this after work at about 4:30 pm...and doing crunches at night before bed...Is this a good way to tone my legs and lose belly fat???

and I just started today....

cardio.. squats.. running.. here is a excelent site that helps you get a flat stomach and the second is how to lose weight.. you need to lose the belly fat by losing weight.. good luck!
