At what age does your metabolism start slowing down?!


Question: At what age does your metabolism start slowing down!?
And also, I gained some weight and you can tell in my face!. Before, if I gained weight but drank lots of water, my face would thin down, but now even if I do that, I think it's still staying the same!. Why is that!? And what's a quick way to lose weight!?

*Yes, I know there is no QUICK way to lose a surplus amount of weight, but there are methods that are faster than others so please share!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are correct!. There is no "quick" way to lose a surplus amount of weight!. However, there are several things you can do (consistently) that, taken together, may help you to shed a few pounds!. These things have worked for me and are generally applicable to all people and body types!. First, increase the amount of meals you have per day (yes, increase), but DECREASE the portion size of each meal (i!.e!. do not overindulge yourself at lunch, and then run on an empty stomach for the rest of the day)!. Instead of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, have a cup of yogurt in the morning, eat a breakfast bar when you get to work, have a bag of pretzels at 11:30, eat a salad at 1:00 p!.m!. and so on and so forth!. Cutting down the size of your meals while increasing their frequency will keep food in your stomach throughout the day and, over time, increase your metabolism (i!.e!. your body's natural ability to burn fat)!. Second, read the nutrition labels of EVERYTHING you eat!. Check the amounts of sodium in canned goods, for example, or the amount of calories in a beverage!. You may be surprised at what some of the things you eat/drink on a regular basis contain!. Lastly, find an exercise routine that works for you and stick to it as best you can!. You've probably heard this before so there is probably no need to elaborate!. However, note that your body needs oxygen to burn fat!. Therefore, exercise at a pace that does not leave you short of breath otherwise you will simply be strengthening your cardio without burning any fat!.
