Why do we vomit or feel close to it when exercising sometimes?!


Question:

Why do we vomit or feel close to it when exercising sometimes?

I never used to feel this, but lately My PT has got me lifting heavier weights and been pushing me harder, And now after most classes (30mins x 3 days a week) I either go home and vomit or feel very nautious or close to it?? what causes our bodies to do this? and is it harmful to be working out at that intensity or is it beneficial?.. And I thought that most people vomit after cardio and not weights?? Thanks!


Answers:

I have read some suggestions referring to water. Be sure to drink lots of water a few hours before your workout. This gives it time to get into your system. If you try drinking lots of water during your workout it will make your stomach upset and doesn't do much good. Water needs time to get into the system and start working good. So drinks lots of water a few hours before your workout and sip on it during your workout.
