Diets alone stink, they aren't that fast unless you starve yourself!. The "diet" that seems to have a very good result is eating 6 meals a day!.!.!.LOOK SHOCKED! heehee
What you need to do is cut down on the junk food/fast food and huge meals!. Eat 6 small meals a day, it may be hard if you are in school, but try!. Also you need to do alot of exercising!. Walk twenty minutes a day, start yoga/karate/weightlifting/any other basic exericieses!.
remember to eat your veggies! mushrooms and many lettus take more energy prossess through your body then it gives engergy (in the form of glucose which if not used will turn to fat)!.
Also drink lots and lots of water!.
You will find you may not loose as much weight as you wanted but your pants (and all clothes) are getting to big!. You may find you are either getting alot of musles (which weights more than fat) or it's water weight!.
