going into 8th grade

will she slim out as gets older?

Well, When I started 8th grade, I was twelve, 164 pounds, and five foot 3 and 1/2 inches tall.

But believe me, I was veryy overwieght and very unhappy. I did not slim out as I got older, I worked my *** off in the gym 4 days a week and limited my calories to 600 a day. Now, 3 years later, I am 126 and 5'6".

So if I were you, I would encourage her to take better care of herself o save herself from ridicule [because highschool boys can be VERY mean] and to prevent potential health problems.
