I don't feel beautiful, or really like anything. I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny. I want to be skinny.

I don't feel right. I feel misunderstood, and everything else. It's depression, then anxiety, and now I don't feel much like anything except for ugly and insecure. I feel as if intellect is the only thing I have at my age. I'm only 13.

I eat healthy, I excersize...at school I cough my guts out in Athletics but everybody runs faster, is skinnier, and it's not fair! Then spend time putting on make up, talking about clothes, and I wasn't taught anything about that stuff.

Answers:

Losing weight is very easy to do if you follow a few simple rules.
1. Never eat after 7pm, your metabolism starts to slow down around that time.
2. Plan your meals, you'd be surprised how much of an impact actually thinking about your diet will have on your weight loss.
3. Exercise, this is the easy part, all you need to do is walk for 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. Here are a few things I think about while I walk, first I try to maintain a pace that keeps my heart rate up close to my target heart rate. What this does for you is allow your body to burn maximum fat, improve your aerobic fitness level, and give you great muscle tone. To determine your target heart rate visit this website:

Take a look at that graph and determine where you should be in the 75% range.
4. Hydration, always remember to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water, and sports drinks.
5. Lastly, get plenty of rest to allow your body to recover from your fitness routine.

This is what I've been doing for the past month and a half and I've lost 13 lbs., and I feel great!!!!!

I typically eat various fruit, wheat toast with jelly, OJ, and coffee for breakfast.
For lunch I usually eat fruit with herbal tea.
For dinner I eat a wide variety of foods, fish, chicken, steak, lots of veggies. The important thing to keep in mind is to stay away from fried foods, too much cheese this is loaded with fat, and too much sugar.
Good luck.
