Okay so I'm 22 and I recently started yoga.I am what people term 'double jointed' ie I'm supposed to be more flexible than regular people.1]Can you tell me if that is a myth or not.
2] Is there any type of pill or anything I can use to become more flexible?
Feel free to give me tips on yoga too.

Double jointed is the term used to refer to people whose joints can hyperextend much more than what seems normal. They can often pull their hand back and lay their thumb along the forearm, for example. There are definitely people who have those kind of joints. Glucosomine and similar pills help with joint flexibility, but the best way to increase flexibility is to stretch your joints.
